To Myself
As time goes by, I grow up little by little. The life will be a long but short journey. It will be not easy. However, I hope I can make it through bravely.
Growing up is a process making you feel lonely in that you have walk on this road by yourself. At the same time, nobody can do that for you. I used to be timid and lonely. However, I hope I can be brave to face the darkness and overcome myself. It is because I have grown up and I’m not a child any longer. Haruki Murakami once said that you should grow up. Don’t be emotional. Don’t miss anything or anyone. Don’t look back. Listen to me, you should live your own life. As we all know, not all the fish live in the same ocean.
Obviously, confusing is not a good word. It is just similar to the way I feel about myself. I can’t know myself well. I always hesitate in front of the cross of life while others work hard to achieve their goals. Therefore, I feel so lost and start to hate myself. I hope I will worry the direction of life any more just taking the first step. I hope I will not worry the choice of life any more just starting over when it’s necessary. Honestly, I don’t know where I will go, but I am on the way at this moment.
Actually, working hard doesn’t mean success while if you don’t work hard, you can’t succeed. There are many obstacles in our life. Maybe you can’t get what you want even if you work so hard. In this situation, you will be painful and hopeless. Nevertheless, I hope I can face difficulties calmly. Life can’t be going smoothly all the time and you have to learn your own lessons. When you make it through, you will find that you have grown up. Don’t be hopeless. Hopelessness is a synonym for death. On the contrary, life means to be hopeful. I know a story. A beautiful girl opens the Pandora's Box symbolizing the disaster only for her curiosity. The earth is shrouded in darkness and all life is gone. However, two lucky children survive. They look down the ruins feeling so sad. Just then, a piece of leave falls down. They are told that the green fallen leave symbolizes hope which is the last gift from the Pandora's Box. So they start to create a new world.
Don’t lose hope in whatever circumstances. Despite the endless stream of difficulties and the unexpected, I hope I can make it through bravely.
